Wow I don't even think all caps can describe my utter joy for this Con! It was such a blast! Ah! SO much happened and yet, none of it was drama. The only think I'm a little upset about is the fact that I didn't need to buy a badge...Oh well, I've got a cute little souvenir (sp?)

So my friend Hunj and I made the 3 1/2 hour trek from Cleveland up to Dearborn, Michigan late friday afternoon where we sang some awesome Within Temptation songs. Ice Queen was hilarious, hearing us try to hit the high notes was epic. And we hit them! o.o There was a bit of construction coming in so I made quite a lot of U-Turns in the process. >.> But we MADE IT!

I met up with , her boyfriend, , and their friends Ginger and Ashley. Rini didn't even recognize me when I walked up to her! ;-; But I had on jeans and a t-shirt and my hair all tied back and my bangs pulled back so it's understandable. XP

We ran to my car where we proceeded to grab all my stuff and carried it up 11 flights of stairs....yes, 11. We were on the 11th floor and we weren't going to bother with the elevators. Let me just say, my hard workout week....extended into the weekend! lol

So friday night I dressed as Malon which was fun! This was the first con I wore her at and it seemed to be liked! ^_^ I did a few shots with Hunj in it, they'll be trickle on here this week. Rini and I jsut wandered looking at all the amazing cosplays and getting pictures and just talking and hanging out. I then was invited to eat pizza with my friends from Kent which was awesome! I dressed as Sakura to surprise him because We were planning a NaruxSasu photoshoot but didn't get to it So I hung with them for a while and then they wandered off so I stood around talking to a Sasuke for a while and took a few pictures with him.

Sat started off as Aerith. Rini and I ran around as Cloud and Aerith most of the day. I think until about 5pm or so. The FF photoshoot really bummed us out. It was basically all crack pairings from VII. A Sephiroth tried to rape me...well, not really but he dragged me out infront of everyone and then proceeded to tilt me backwards and got within inches of my face. o.o I was terrified. Thank you to the Zack who came to save me! You can never count on Cloud XP Just teasing Rini! I <3 U

After all that crazyness Rini and I did a photoshoot with Hunj as CloudxAerith. That was fun. We tried for the stairwell because it looked sort of slum like but there was too many people using it so we gave up adn went back to the pool area where we came up with this ingenious plan to do the Aerith death scene in the water. There are some awesome shots of that! All three of us got a bit wet, me the most but wow that was so amazing! Then Rini and I ran into the bathroom with a Reno and Elena and dried off. I had to take my costume off because it was soaked head to toe. So, I grabbed two towels, wrapped one around my waist and held one aorund my torso and chest and made a mad dash to the hotel room. If anyone saw us coming out of the bathroom...That would have been hilarious. XP

Then Rini and I changed cosplays. I let her borrow my Malon cosplay and I put on my Temari cosplay. OH MY! She looked AMAZING! Cutest Malon ever! We came to the conclusion that we will be sharing that costume from now on. ^_^

Hunj took more pictures. Did I mention he is an absolutely amazing photog. Just wow. I'll be hanging out with him sometime soon and probably a lot more now that I know where his campus is! lol It has great scenery so he mentioned that I should come up sometime with my cosplays and rrun around campus taking pictures!

Then i switched to Sakura again because we were going to trry to fit the NaruxSaku shoot in but we didn't make it before the rave. SO I jsut ran around in Sakura the rest of the night. I was asked by another photog roaming the con for a few pictures which was super exciting and just made my day. Grant it I would have probably preferred to have been Temari for those shots if I had to choose but he jsut plucked me right from the floor and took me to the pool area and set his stuff up and started shooting. It was so cool. I getting frusterated with myself because I was having trouble posing especially with all the kneeling I was doing and it just had to be on my bad knee. It's a bit bruised today but that's ok!

After that, we ran into and her friend who cosplays Genesis. Hunj also took a few photograghs of them too. I just sat and stared at the walls not being helpful because I was so wiped out. @_@ After all of that Hunj and I sat down for a little bit and looked at all the photos he took. So many good cosplays!!!!! Rini and Keiri-starling and Ginger met back up with us after that. Where we proceeded downstairs and stood by the elevators. I took another picture with Sasuke in his raver outfit, which I was shocked looked really good. Usually when people do rave versions of their characters it sort of get's butchered. But this looked great!

Here comes my nightmare of the con...

A girl walks up to us and asked if we liked the shape of a circle...We all replied with some lame comments about how they were round and nice and then she proceeded to drag us over to her circle of friends....Where she clinged onto me and drug me to the center of the circle and sat me down telling me they were going to ask me questions. No questions....just a massive glomp pile where I was the bottom scrunched into the fetal position. I had so many mixed emotions...I was about to cry, punch and kick someone all at the same time. ;-;

After that we just found a random place to sit on the floor and talked aobut Harry Potter cosplays.

Sunday was a short day. I had to get on the road and get back to Kent.

Over all so much amazingness was at this con. It was so awesome! Thanks everyone for a great time!

To fullfill my childhood, and my love of Digimon I am doing this for a cospaly. And I am going to make it myself...Well, sort of. I'm going to need a lot of help and advice to get this right. Because I want it right! This will be like maybe next year like 2011ish since 2009 is already almost gone and 2010 is almost here...

Youmacon is 3 days away! *Dances* Might have TIna from DoA finished but only for a photoshoot. My friend who doesn't have a dA account and lives in Cleveland wants to shoot it so I'm trying really hard to complete it. ^_^

I got my car back today. AND OMFG it runs quietly now...it's amazing. <333333

Ok, so Tina is a no go. I need more practice and time to get her bikini right. I can't find gold bias tape anywhere...I'll just havee to make the 25 min.+ drive out to the closest JoAnns. I'm debating between Sakura and Temari. Temari will be warmer but I haven't worn Sakura all that much.

I still need to work some more on Rock Lee. Thanks so much for all the comments and faves on him. <3 I was so nervous about that one not looking right!

Where to start...I'm going to try to make this short and I'm not even going to mention school except for the fact that I might even be more delayed in getting into my Gen. Studies minors becuase my advisor is out indefinately. Photo Illustration and Web Design why do you taunt me! I feel like I will never get into them! I'll probably go talk with my Advisor in Athletics and then go from there (Most likely will try for an override in both areas so I can get going!)
